Below we compiled a list of Latinx YouTubers that create a wide spectrum of content, from beauty, to fitness and lifestyle. Whether you are using YouTube as background noise while studying or as quick entertainment while you're eating lunch, be sure to explore the many Latinx creators that are producing amazing content! 1. Manny MUA- Manny Gutierrez is Mexican American and was born and raised in San Diego, California. He is the first male brand ambassador for the make-up brand Maybelline! He is a makeup guru who posts videos about reviews and tutorials. In the previous years, he shared his journey as he “came out” to his parents. Gutierrez reflects on the struggles that came with his father accepting him as a gay male. He has inspired so many Latinx LGBTQ+ individuals by coming forward with his own personal story!
2. Daisy Márquez- Daisy Márquez is a beauty guru from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She was raised in Dallas, Texas but is currently living in Los Angeles, California. She is a DACA recipient and shares her immigration story on her channel. She mainly records makeup reviews and tutorials.
3. Desi Perkins- Desi Perkins is Mexican American and was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She has launched a company called “DEZI” where she sells luxury sunglasses. In the past years, she has brought awareness to the topic of infertility with her own personal story. She shares the ups and downs of “In vitro fertilization.” She started off as a beauty guru but is somehow digging her way into the lifestyle section of Youtube.
4. Dulce Candy- Dulce Candy is from Zacapu, Mexico. At the age of 6, Dulce’s mother illegally brought her to Oxnard, California where she was raised. After graduating high school, she joined the Army where she became a certified generator mechanic. She was deployed to Iraq for 15 months and experienced combat several times. After the Army, she worked as a mechanic but also pursued Youtube and began uploading videos about fashion and makeup. Now a U.S. citizen, Dulce lives in Los Angeles, California and vlogs about her life as a mother.
Lifestyle
1. Louie’s Life- Louie Castro is Mexican American and was raised in Watsonville, California. He vlogs his trips and participates in many challenges! He came out a couple years ago as gay and tries to address the issues of gender norms through his channel by wearing make-up to challenge conventional standards.
2. AlexandrasGirlyTalk- Alexandra Beth was born and raised in Colombia. She creates videos about fashion, make-up, skincare, etc. We would definitely recommend her if you are interested in long detailed videos that explain the science behind the color wheel, camera angles, and more!
3. Natalies Outlet- Natalie Alzate is Colombian American and was born in Chicago, Illinois. She is currently residing in Orlando, Florida. She vlogs about her daily life, reviews make-up/hair products, and makes videos with her beautiful dog named Jupiter (who was born in Colombia).
4. SunKissAlba- Alba Ramos is Dominican and vlogs about skin care and curly girl hair routines. She calls her channel a destination for “organic beauty and non-toxic everything.” If you’ve been looking for new organic products to try we would recommend subscribing to her channel!
Fitness
1. Daisy B. Guerrero- Daisy B. Guerrero is Mexican American and was raised in California. She vlogs fitness routines, transformations videos, make-up routines, and shows how she tries to lead a plant-based lifestyle. She is barely starting out her Youtube career but is hoping to branch out to the fashion industry. If you are looking for inspiration with meal prepping and working out we would highly recommend watching her videos!
2. Jazmin Gonzalez- Jazmin Gonzalez is Mexican American and was raised in California. She is a vegan fitness enthusiast who vlogs about weight training and building muscle. We would recommend watching her videos if you are interested in making healthy vegan meals that have lots of protein!
